New and used clothes

che_gilsonI got new clothes. T-shirts from a thrift shop and brand new pants. I would have got used pants too but they didn't have anything good or in my size.
I also discovered a plus for shopping in the 'grown up' clothes section. Apparently I'm a size 4. LOL! I've been watching a lot of "What Not to Wear" on tv lately and Stacy and Clinton have a special hell for those who are too old to shop in the Junior dept. Okay, guilty. BUT try finding COTTON in the grown up clothes? I swear everthing is made of polyester and rayon, 'work' clothes like pant suites and such are especially guilty. BUT I did find grown-up pants, size 4 and mostly cotton. So that was a nice change of pace. I also got some junior dept. shorts in a size 11. It was rather depressing but the size 4 made up for it.
With all the Harry Potter hooplah, and because I'm STILL avoiding finishing DMD vol 2, I was thinking about Slytherins. I was thinking that for a house that prizes cunning and turns out all these amazing Dark Wizards, most of the Slytherins seem...well...rock stupid. they don't seem to have to have two brain cells to rub together among the entire group. But just because we haven't met the smart ones doesn't mean they don't exist. So I came up with my own Slytherin character:
Name: Bravery Delphina
House: Slytherin
Age: depends on year
Family: Older Bro- Leo, older sis- Honore (accent acute over the last e), and yonger bro-Griffin
History: Her entire fanily are die hard Gryffindors, and Bravery ONE of the family black sheeps (the other being her squib aunt who married a muggle and her muggle cousine who Bravery likes and spends summers with). Every one was horrified she "ended" up in Slytherin but Bravery knew what she was doing. She's cunning, smart and iron-willed. The other Slytherins don't really know what to make of her but she seems headed down the dark wizard path and can be stunningly nasty at times.
There you go. I'm all done. I suppose if anyone cared I coul doodle her up, but honestly I have nothing to do with this character aside from being a pleasent distraction.
