But here are a few of them anyway. The armour was made by Abi and Mike http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6217513 They would probably be open to taking more doll armor commissions.

I did the face-up myself. The white base I did with crushed white Rembrandt pastels and almost an entire can of MSC. It's layer upon layer of pastel, each one sealed before the next layer was out on. It's horrifically fragile! If I had the money I'd get someone with an airbrush to re-do it for me. The wig is from 4D and its really nice but has been shedding like crazy!! It was not cheap either! A big wad of hair fell out this morning after I was done taking pics... The eyes are Volks vermillion with white line, and Annette has a whole horror story for that too! I'm SOOOO sorry!!

The body is an oldskin Volks boy body that is kinda... well... crap. I totally over paid for it but it was my fault. The girl selling it had a price on it or OBO and like a dumdass I just paid the price for it. Anyway, I'll never get back what I spent on him so I'm stuck with him. The body is yellowed, which is why I did the white face-up on Saint, the seams were badly removed, he has stains and light scratches all over. I need to get some Bon Ami and give him a real scrub down. Also the Tony head's neck hole is a little big fro the oldskin neck and his head is real floppy. I may suede the neck later on.

Does anyone else want them? They consist mostly of blurry photos of Patton Oswalt LOL! Not really, but there's a few head scratchers in there.

Other than that not much is going on. Work continues. Mostly for Brett. Synopsis of the secret project is almost complete! Never thought I'd get there.

My mom is having her gallbladder removed. Apparently it doesn't really do anything except occasionally malfunction and require removal.

Sard is almost 100% paid off! I cancelled the body brushing on him after seeing photos of the Beryl brushing problems. I can do a little something with pastels.

I NEED another can of MSC though! OMG! Saint- the Volks Tony head is 90% complete! I'm debating a few painted details but then he's done! Now I just need his body back :) His face-up, layers of white pastel to look like make-up, took almost the entire can of MSC to finish. I need to get someone with an airbrush to do Saint 2.0 when this face-up chips.... Alexie is also headless in anticipation of his 5th? re-do!! OMG! Yes, I'm doing it myself...again. Barring pro-bono work from SDink I really can't afford anyone good, and none of these people are my special friends since I don't live near anyone and can't go to doll meets. So unless Lachlana takes charity cases, it's me or nothing.

I have pics of my dolls from a couple weeks ago. I spammed the DoA boards (and actually got comments) but haven't put them on LJ yet. The clothes were part of a trade I did for the Yori head I sold a while ago.

So, pics in a minute- yes I'm a horrible tease. Othere writers actually talk about writing on their blogs... I think. At least they have projects to announce. Gah! This has just turned into a doll blog. I'm sorry! I can curse CBS though! CBS- you rotten bastards! 'Threshold' was THE BEST series EVER!! I hate you to death! I just finished watching the extras on the last disc of 'Threshold" and the producers talked about some of the plans they had. OMG! It was going to be so good and so amazing! I'm sorry I watched it- just knowing all the coolness that will NEVER come to pass is completely pissing me off!

Okay, back to dolls. I will have mercy and put many of them under a cut. I finally took some pictures of Kurumi that are actually worthy of her so I'm pretty pleased. Luna always looks awesome! I can't take a bad picture of her, but somehow Kurumi defeats me more often than not.

As usual I took about 50 pictures or so. Kurumi has no shoes on because the only pair of shoes she has won't fit over the thick pink striped socks. The hood has bunny ears too! The pics or on my photobucket but good luck finding them... I'm not well organized...

I have more pictures too! I put prple eyes in Nutmeg and took Nutmeg, Souxsie, and Bon Bon out for a shoot. I seem to have misplaced the chord to connect my camera to the computer though so those will have to wait. Elfdoll eyeputty is digusting! So is Latidoll. I though Lati eyeputty was the worst until I put new eyes in Nutmeg! Although all I've been using is translucent Fimo. (it's not transparent until baked though). But after seeing pics of Sculpy melting the resin in a doll head I kinda freaked out! Everyone is okay though. Apparently Fimo is alright. Though I can't vouch for colored Fimo. Still- someone told me to use silicon earplug stuff and that you can get it at the drugstore. I have yet to test this however.
