Another one bites the dust

The latest Volks girl I'm drooling over http://www.volksusa.com/dolpa16kurumi.html She's not even an option!
But my Heath coming home! Handsome devil. I really want to get a gothic face-up on him but am loathe to mail the head off. My own face-up skills while improving just aren't up to snuff. The latest face-up on my obitsu Haruka looks like a ho. "Take off you low heals and put on your ho heels". I think eyeliner is the worst. My eyebrows are pretty even and eyelashes not too bad but eyeliner GAH!! I also gave up painting the lips and used pastels which looked a lot better. I painted on some white highlights. The pastel kinda got everywhere though so I had the brilliant idea of masking them off! I can use kneaded eraser for now and maybe white or transparent sculpy on a resin head. It also works when applying the gloss! I might see if it will work on eyeliner. I know I shouldn't chicken out, I should have a go at Heath myself and not spend $70 on Morbidollz face up....but they look so good!
And then I have total buyer jitters! I know Winterelf! I know....I've just never spent that much on a doll! What if I don't like him?? *panic* I've been trolling for pics of him on the internet trying to be sure. Of course I'm going to get him though. If I don't I think he'll turn into the one that got away and I would regret that more! (kind of like Kurumi who I really have no hope of getting) But I keep seeing more dolls I want- other dolls, and now I have ideas for mods and it just keeps going. My mom asked how long this doll thing is going to last as I have been harping on them for months now (it's turned into an obcession out of all proportion) and I said I don't know. She said, I guess we'll weather it. Like it's a storm or something. I do need to take it down a notch or 5 since I've abandoned all pretense of doing anything other than cruise the internet for doll sites and post on DoA.
My latest money making scheme is to customive My Little Ponies which Elise introdced me too. I'm going to make gothic/lolita ponies! My fist one will be done soon! If I can stay off the damn internet!
