Dear Yaoi,

I give up. You win. I have realized that faulting yaoi for starting 80% of books off with rape is wrong. Just because it's completely and totally unrealistic doesn't mean it can't be done. It's like faulting Tolkien because Orcs aren't real. Yaoi is complete and total fantasy and if most authors want to indulge their obsession for non-consensual gay sex who am I to judge? They are after all ink drawings.
 
However it would be nice if all you manga-ka out there could consider a plot without these things:
Rape
Bogus aphodesiacs
"But I'm a boy" or "We're both men"
Angst
Whining
