I wish I could really, really get Jukka down though. I was going to do a sort of zero-G floating in space thing but it didn't work out... Next I have two cartoons with Scramblers which I'm going to finish. They are ONLY funny if you read the book though. Otherwise they are headscratchers.
Speaking of vampires, I saw 30 Days of Night today. I liked it. It had problems of course. Massive gaps in story- it goes from day 1 to day 7 to day 27! And the cast list at the end enourmous except we never MET any of these people. They were pretty much nameless townspeople with vague issues who were on screen for 3 minutes before dying. The vampires all had names too, which was surprising since they never addressed eachother by name. But in an age whiny, romantic , impotent jerk-off vampires it was nice to see some actual freakin BRUTALITY from them. It's almost enough to make me forget that Moonlight is still on TV. WTF??!
I call this TV season 'the season of adequate equivelants" basically every 'new' show on TV is a lot like another cancelled show from a few years ago.
Chuck= Jake 2.0
Pushing Daisies= Dead Like Me
Reaper= Brimstone
Bionic Woman= Bionic Woman+ Buffy-supernatural
Moonlight= Angel-vampires
So far the only one I'm actually watching is Reaper. Otherwise I hate them all. although I'm not sure which I hate most... its a tie between Pushing Daisies which makes me want to vomit sugar and Moonlight which is so dull and so horrible it's near torture.
I'm sticking to the returning shows like 30 Rock, Supernatural, Heros, and yes even Stargate Atlantis despite the presence of Amanda Carter as their leader. I don't know why, I just don't like her... I wish Shepherd was in charge... Oh and the Tayla Shepherd hook-up? Please dear god NOOOOOOO!!!! She is perfect for Ronon!!!
