Well I reached the end of my script for Dark Moon Diary vol. 2 YAY! Which means my time is relatively my own again. I'm working up stories for a few other people too.

But I also read "The End" of A Series of Unfortunate Events as well. It was useless. It explained nothing. Nothing happened and I didn't care. It was lame in the true essence of the word lame, limping dull, and pointless. My only regret is having read the entire series. At least it was short. You can skip about half the text in these books too as being retetive and superfluous. Why are thes poular? Why were they published in the first place? Whose leg did Lemony Snicket hump to get these published? I can see why his film didn't get a sequel...

Luckily I checked out a good book from the Library, Blindsight by Peter Watts, AND found out the Rifters series does NOT end with Mealstrom like I thought!! I have to see if the library has the next two(?) books in the trilogy Behemoth:B-Max and Behemoth: Seppuku... but that makes 4 books in the trilogy right? Or am I on crack? I don't get it... Seriously though in all the blurbs on the back of Blindsight they talk about the Rifters Trilogy...Anyway Blindsight is another amazing hard SF, and even more than hard SF it's just plain HARD- to read and understand. The science is so factual it's almost hard to beleive it doesn't exist yet! His ideas are mind boggling too! These books make you work and are worth it! They are mind expanding! You have to think just to keep up!

Picture time! I managed to take pics of Sathariel's glow in the dark hair. My camera is good, but not that good, Photoshop's contrast helped them out a lot. I posted these to Doa and got more comment on this than any other post!!? WTH?

Well, the fall tv season has started and I feel compelled to bitch! Moonlight is horrible! OMG it's horrible, luckily it sounds like it will be cancelled! Why is that guy even a vampire? They removed ALL actual vampiric traits from him! And that stupid blond girl is just awful. Of course he saved her when she was child- that wasn't actually a plot twist although maybe it was meant to be, but do you suppose he'd havekept an eye on her if she was fat? No.

Pushing Daisies- I'm surprised but I HATE  this show! It's so sickeningly sweet I was grateful that Criminal Minds was on right after it so I could wash the saccarin taste out of my brain... It's a bad Tim Burton knock-off, it reminds a lot of Big Fish. I can feel dibetes kicking in as I watch it.
