Battlestar Galactica RETURNS!
Mar. 29th, 2008 07:06 pmOh so soon the most deeply philosophic show on TV comes back! I'm actually pretty happy this is the last season. A lot of shows drag on and loose fans and go nowhere! *coughLostandDS9* But Galactica has the good grace to have what will hopefully be a really awesome and satisfying ending. If they turn out to suck though there wil be riots! But it's also such a depressing show I don't think I could 5-7 seasons of it without Zanax.
BUT! I do have a beef with the final 4 Silons (they promised 5 and I'm convinced Starbuck is a Silon!! She better be!!). The final 4 were just so random, it's like they picked names out of a hat. I have my own better and more logical final 4 line-up which- if they only listened to me- would have paid of about 3 seasons worth of hints!
Hear me out- Who should have been the final 4 (not counting Starbuck who is the 5th!!!!!!)
Cheif Tyrol- That was a good one actually, way back, when he was talking to the preist (the Silon from Quantum Leap...) the priest used the singular God instead of the plural Gods and the Cheif didn't call him on it. Plus he had those dreams he was a Silon and then of course his knowledge of the Temple they found
Felix Geata- Two reasons he should have been a Silon, #1- Whatever Baltar said to him in the cell Baltar was jailed in that set Geata off- I'm convinced (or was convinced) Baltar accused Geata of being a Silon. They never did tell us what Baltar said- he just whispered to Geata. AND secondly, it was Geata's idea to network the Galactica computers which came back to haunt them when the Silon virus kicked in later.
Col. Tigh's wife!- This would have been the best Silon ever! For starters she was under suspicion early on and Baltar did that Silon test on her- the results of which we were never privvy too and it would have been amazing to see her come back and see Tigh react to the wife he killed.
Billy!- Presidential aid Billy- but mostly I just miss him and wish they hadn't killed him and the only way he can come back is as a Silon....
Actually those three are the only ones I had any firm convictions on. So the 4th name they might as well pull out of a hat. I'm nuetral on Anders, I don't like him, I don't dislike him.... he's just sort of filler for me.... Aside from being Mr.Starbuck he's kinda boring... The newer presidential aid I don't particularly like and she hadn't really been in it enough to make me care if she's a Silon or not.
