I want someone to tell me I'm good...

Well, I got a couple responses to my MG horror short story. And I realized I was desperately wanting a boardful authors approval. I wanted omeone to say 'You aren't that bad!' or even 'Wow you rock!' and of course none of that happened. On a boardful of other writers I am just another writer.

It seems like I see a lot of people on various forums running around telling each other bloody great they are and I NEVER  get that. Hell, ih the years and years I've been on DoA I haven't made a single friend on that board.

I guess the key is to run around on the forums and tell OTHER PEOPLE how freaking awesome they are whether they are or not, and at that point they will begin to reciprocate because you have oothed their ego and told them everyting they want to hear about themselves. The problem is it's taken me this long to figure it out and I've never been good at running around praising people whether they deserve it or not.

So anyway, anyone want to read my short story??? ;)
