23. How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?
Well for starters I don't post my work. And as for length it just depends. The RFN is approaching 3 years old and still isn't near done (but I have an ending!!! Squee!!) Where as Tea Times Three is going swimmingly. I'm on pg 150 (handwritten) and anticipate being done in another couple months with the first draft. I have written flash in as little as an hour but have another longish short sory languishing while I work on T3 and the RFN. So really it all depends. But I think this is the same answer probably every other author who did this meme on LJ gave. I mean unless you have a publishing contract stipulating 1 book a year, or like some are just super productive, everything will vary from project to project.
Word to the wise- I will probably skip some of the questions on the anime meme as I don't do a lot of cosplay myself, although I still have my Saionji costume and if I go to Yaoi Con this year I'm totally bustin it out again!
Day 1 - Very first anime
Well, the first one that I KNEW was anime was Robotech- yes Robotech- Yes I am that old. I can do you one better that though, because when I was just a little mite I watched Battle of the Planets on Saturday morning cartoons (anyone remember those???) I had no idea it was from Japan, I just remember very vividly that the main villian turned out to be a woman! I was so stunned and amazed and thrilled. It was like, I never realized you could do that. It wasn't until years later that I even knew it was Japanese. Heck, I couldn't remember the name of the show. I also later found out that the lady villian was the main character's mom and that kinda blew my mind too.
Oh, and Soraryu who I took this meme from is doing it fancey with pictures and at first I wasn't gonna cause I'm
lazy, but then I thought, I'll give it a shot! So here goes nothing.
Aaaaand...
