I've hooked up with comic webzine Comicnews.com and they let me review TV I'm already watching! Here is a link to my review http://comicnews.info/?p=4186  What I didn't bring up in the review for both brevity and the fact I'm too lazy to go back and watch the last episode of Firefly, is that I do think Dollhouse is a better vehicle for the existential philosophy he seemed so keen to express in the last episode of Firefly- you know- the one with Richard Brooks. God, I hated that show. Like lots. Everyone I know LOVES Firefly, except my mom who hates it as much as I do.  I should do a write up on why Firefly was bad for Comicnews.info. I'm actually thinking about doing it. I have multiple valid points.

Back to Dollhouse! Hard to judge after one episode but the whole story line seems so painfully obvious. I'm hoping for more. I really am! Also missing I feel is a visual style. I don't know why, the show looks fine but for some reason I feel like it could look better, more high concept. I actually wish it looked like CSI: Miami- a show I hate but one with fantastic cinemotography and a color palette. But I do like Eliza Dishku and she has decent range. I still miss Tru Calling, that was such a good show and it was really going somewhere when it was cancelled. And also all the Actives are named after call signs! Like Alpha and Echo both of them are call signs. Makes me wonder if they only have 24 Actives. I actually learned some of them after having to spell things in Dragon Naturally Speaking for a while.
