In my sheer utter desperation to make money without actually having to work for it, I signed up for four, count them 4 paid survey sites. I'm useing an old e-mail that isn't used for anything so my regular e-mail doesn't get spammed to death. I actually found out about these sites through a newspaper article so hopefully no one is cleaning out my paypal account as I type. Not that I have anything in paypal at the moment. Of course I think I'm going to have to start lying just to qualify for the surveys! I took a bunch of screening survey which is were they ask you questions to decide if you are the focus group they want and I qualified for NONE! Problem is I don't buy anything, I can't eat anything. One was asking what fruit drinks have you consumed in the past 3 months- I've comsumed WATER in the past 3 months. Maybe I'll answer things like before my chiropractor told me I'm allergic to food. I mean I still remember what stuff tastes like. (Although apparently Oreos just aren't the same now that transfats are being banned-or whatever). Another one was all about air freshners. I don't use air freshners either. But at least I was entered into their twice monthly $4,000 sweepstakes! Whoo-hoo! (God I wish sarcasm had a font...)

Well, we'll see what happens. I mean I as opinionated as the next person, and I am really brand aware if nothing else! No one watches as much tv as I do and not be brand aware.

Le sigh* The SD 13 boy body I got didn't work for Igon. It's an old skin body and the neck is thicker than the SD 13 is now. I tried Igon out on Alexie's body before I put the old skin on layaway. So now I have a quandry which I'm going to sit on for awhile. My choices are- Sell it, keep it and see I can find a yellowed old skin head for it (this might be a good chance at a cheap Volks Chris or Lucas!), or trade it. I think Igon will be an okay match for Angel Region skin. I still (too my shame!) have the AR head a friend of mine sent me to paint and practice on. (Honestly, I just haven't been able to afford to mail it back! I will! I swear! I might re-do it in the mean time too, I think I can do a better job...) and Igon matched the resin pretty well. AND of course what was JUST for sale on the DoA marketplace for $350? An AR boy body! Guess what's now on hold for someone (not me)? An AR boy body! OMFG! Well, I am still in possession of a very nice old skin body with a pretty rockin sleeve tattoo. And I must say as much as "yellowing" is deathly feared in the bjd community I think Volks old skin yellows great! It's really even and actually looks more golden than yellow. It's still a nice human skin tone not some crazey color.

Tomorrow the newspaper interviews me, IN COSTUME! Thanks Xylia! Now I have to get together an EGL ensamble and got to the bank in it... since the bank is right by the newspaper office... I'm going to bring a doll with me! I'm bringing Isabella because she is big, pretty, and is not genderly confusing like Alexei. And I'm taking the TOKYOPOP promo chap book with DMD in it. I'll let you all know how fat I look in the paper.
