"Where's my geisha? I need my shoes..."
May. 26th, 2003 05:52 pmWell I just saw the movie Down With Love. And it was really cute. Both a satire of those old romantic comedies and an affirmation of them. The costuming was one of the best parts about it. I still haven't seen X2. There just hasn't been time. I have heard that the Matrix Reloaded isn't so hot. But I still want to go see it for myself.
I have a whole stack of new movie rentals as well. I rented Hannibal and it was horrible just like everyone said. I spread out over two days and it felt like I have been watching it for three days. The Hitler miniseries on TV is also really good. After about three-hours of it however it was starting to creep me out. Robert Carlisle's performance is fantastic, very intense and very frightening.
Movie rentals.
The Godfather.
Hannibal.
Sweet and Lowdown.
The Road Home.
Strangely I've never seen the Godfather so I finally decided to rent it. And I had to wash the taste of Hannibal out of my brain.
New books.
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf.
Darklost by Mick Farrin.
Darklost is complete trash. It's like the Jerry Springer of vampire novels. Highly addicting and completely without substance. I only just started reading Mrs. Dalloway so all I can say is that the woman really liked her semi-colons.
My latest addiction is http://go-gaia.com and its all PAPERAMPS FAULT! Curses! As if I wasn't already super addicted to live journal... go to go-gaia and join the madness!

cold.. or are you?
Find out what bishonen you are.
