I'm a Winner...sort of...

che_gilsonI recently got second place in a writing contest! It was the First Annual Clued-In Press Award for short mystery fiction. I was hoping for first place in which case I would have gotten published. Boo. Now I have to send the story someplace else and hope for money. I did get a Barnes and Noble gift certificate.
I'm almost done with all the art for Fanime. I'm sooo excited. I'm making t-shirts this year! I bought iron-on things that go through the ink jet. So I have two designs. And I got the t-shirts really cheap at Michaels! Of course, I'm still sweating bullets because I may not get a table. I sent in my application for a temporary seller's permit and waited three weeks, maybe four, before I finally called them to find out where it was. Turns out, they never even received it! Stupid PO! So, I had to wait another 2 1/2 weeks, not to mention spending $6 to fax in my application, before I got it! But I mailed it in this week and they should have received it. Now I'm starting to worry whether Fanime got my money for my badge. What if I have no badge?!!
