Instead of turkey...

che_gilsonInstead of turkey I got a sinus infection! Yay! That was fun. I'm still going through kleenex. I'm out of Puffs and I'm down to the recycled brand from Whole Foods. Which normally is fine but not for heavy duty action. If I feel better this weekend I'm making my own turkey dinner! Which will be a bacon wrapped turkey breast and mashed potatoes since I can't eat anything else. I'm going to start taking pictures of the really good food I make and put it up here. I made the most perfect lasagna a couple months ago and I still wish I had pics! It was awesome.
The X-mas presents for my naked doll is coming together. Luna will be the bestest punkest meanest Luna ever! Her pilot hat and goggles came in. I also bought metallic pink eyes for Nutmeg! Squee! She'll be so cute! I'm giving her eyelashes too if I can. But The piggies arrived at Denver Doll Emporium. Two small payments and she's all mine!
I'm almost done with Christmas shopping too! Yay for Etsy! And Strapya World!
Also incoming are Saints' eyeballs and a black and red kimono. I have the head now and so far all I've done is strip the old face up. Although there is still lipstick in the corner of the mouth. I'm starting to wonder if I'll keep Ole Saint. His body is yellow and kinda beaten up- I'm not sure how many owners he's had but I know the person I bought him from was at least his second owner. There are a few minor chips and lets just say whoever de-seamed him wasn't an expert. Kinda scratched up etc. I wonder if I could sell him as a fullset sometimes. Although I doubt I could get anywere close to what I sank into him.
I think about selling Isabella from time to time as well. The problem is that 1) I'l never get what I paid for her, particularly since Luts BW isn't that color anymore- and/or she's yellowed? It's hard to tell. 2) Lishes aren't exactly rare. 3) I don't want to sell her to some amature modder with a spanky new dremmel rotor tool they've just been DYING to try out. I don't want her mutilated by someone who doesn't love her (or someone who does for that matter)
I'm bidding on an outfit on Y!J, it's the Chinese Punk girl outfit they had a few months ago. I want my girls to have nice things. AND I have a lead on an SD 13 boy body for poor floating Igon. I may or may not sand his neck hole a little bigger just to be sure this time!
Cross your fingers for the success of Saint! He'll either be a cool Frankendoll the envey of the boards or he'll be up on the Marketpalce in a the spring! I'm still thinking about his face-up too. It's white and red and I'm going to look up Kabuki on google for pics. See if I like any of it. Stoopidly I'm half tempted to give him Amidala's face up circa ep. 1! But i won't. I hate those movies anyway.
