che_gilsonI had to reject someone for etsy_ja today. I actually got their request a few days ago but have been putting it off. I don't think they had an Etsy account and the group needs to stay focused, that's why memebership is modded in the first place. I just wish I could tell the person that! It would be nice if you were able to explain WHY they were rejected! i really thought ther would be a little box were I could type a note or something.
It's not personal! It's just for members of the Etsy JA street team, that's all!
I made the last payment on the SD13 boy body I had on layaway. Now we see if he comes LOL! No, he should, I'm sure he will. Finally my Igon will have a body and I will have more boys which is Xylia's main complaint about my dolls. I have too many girls apparently :) Well, I don't understand people who only want one gender of doll. I'm also not big on cross-dressing my dolls. If I were to have a drag sort of boy it would have to be part of the personality, not just 'I think he looks cute in a dress' which really bugs me for some reason. One of these days I will make my boy-whores! They really are going to be prostitutes and maybe assassines too. For those dolls I have models picked out. One will be an FCS F-26 snowskin which will be neat trick sisnce that head is of course Sato only (I tell you, I wish I had the balls to go to Dolpa and punch Mr. Shigeta in the face-just for puttting me through so much hell and of course for the fact that I'll never get she-who-must-not-be-named), the next boy whore will be AR Fair Dan who has 'bottom' stamped on his forhead right above his screw-me-now pleading expression. I love him! There may be a third boy whore too, maybe an FCS F-06 but i'm not sure. I just wish AR had beauty white skin as an option for all their dolls. They aren't going to be real angsty whores either, I like the ones in the Kushiel series by Jacquline Carey. They'll be courtesans and killers! And I want them wearing the really loose kimonos that tie in the front so their shoulders are bare. If I can maybe I'll make them tiny opium pipes too. Right now I'm trying enter the Nobility Photogenic Contest 2. First place is a standard edition Lie who I like. When I win I will ask if I can get him in white skin. I'm trying to be optimistic. I say TRYING because today I got Sathariel out (she's who I'm taking the pic off), and last night I did a sort of trial run and got her posed with the props and evrything in readiness to take the pic. Today I have a horrible time setting her up in the front yard, she falls over, the grass is wet, I'm worried I'll kneel in cat shit, and finally I set her up and turn on the camera and....... the batteries are dead! GYAH! So I take everything back inside and the batteries are recharging. I really do hope I win. Lie is really cute. The only way the prize could be better is if it was TAN Lie. He's super hot tan. I went to Michael's Art Supply today to look at casting resin. I've seen so many EGL pendants and ring that are just a rose and some other stuff cast in resin. I though to my self 'I could make stuff like that and sell it on Etsy' After reading the label though my thought was 'This smells like work', so I don't think I'll be going any casting anytime soon, no matter how badly I want a rose pendant.
