My new favorite thing

che_gilsonI was watch Ebert and Roeper today and saw an add for the website were all the reviews are archived online, going back to the Siskol and Ebert days. It's amazing, I spent so much time watching reviews of movies it's not funny. http://bventertainment.go.com/tv/buenavista/ebertandroeper/

I would watch more tv on my computer but I've been having a lot of trouble with it lately. ABC won't load properly, NBC has really bad lag. Netflix seems to be working fine. But I'm still sad. I'm afraid it's a virus or something, ever since I clicked on the Dollzone site and got that "Trojan Removed" message from McAfee. But all the scans show nothing but the usual cookies. I even downloaded (I think...) Flashplayer 9. I never know if it's me or not.
Other than that...I GOT MY LUNA!!!!!!! Of course she's not mine yet. Not until I pay her off.
LA Dolpa is looking bad too. I don't think I'll have the funds to go. And juding from the nonresponses from my friends *poke*grin* I don't know if I'll get a Sweet Dream School A head either. But at least with goodluck there will be another chance next year at LA Dolpa 2. Maybe by then I'll be a famous and in demand comic author with pockets dripping $100 bills.
I was tagged byxylia and now need to list 7 facts/personality quirks (only 7??LOL!)
1- I'm a total collector. I love things and I rarely throw anything out.
2- I know a ridiculous amount about animals. Seriously, try to stump me. I have watched nature documentaries since childhood.
3-I'm NOT a rabid fan, of anything. I'm deffinately A fan but it's always pretty casual, especially compared to a lot of fans who collect everything ubder the sun with their favorite shows/actor/comics/anime on it.
4- I don't have any of my own art displayed in my room. I don't hang my prints or paintings. Heck, if it weren't for handi tack and an abundance of con freebies my walls would be naked now.
5-I would actually LIKE to write for Marvel even though I never read any of their books until the last couple years, and even then it's mini series. I would like to revive some of their obscure girl heroes from the 50s (or whenever)
6- I collect postcards. i LOVE postcards. My favorite postcards are the ones from animecons ans comic cons. I go by the freebie tables and grad stacks of them for myself. AND I never just take 1, a grab a handful of each one I like.
7- I'm not a pet person. I discovered pets (like children) are just NOT were I want my time to go. I would rather be doing anything than feeding my roomies cats when she goes out of town. So I think I'll never have pets. I like the idea a lot better than I the reality of it, but that goes for everything in my life.
8- Bonus fact! I always have fun in retrospect, such as when I go on vacation or travel I'll be stressed and worried the whole time but when I get home I realize I had fun and have lots of good memories of whatever I did.
