I spammed my new doll on DoA today, hoping to get compliments/reassurance that I haven't just blown $550. All to no avail. The LONG and very amusing box opening/arrival photostory got one post, but nothing in the gallery! I sorta needed more. The problem is Luna. I became obsessed with Luna right after I bought Torrie, despite the fact that I'd been wanting Torrie for quite awhile. When she got here I had to wrestle horribly to change her ears, then even though she comes with earings only one set of ears are pierced- the mermaid ears which are the last ones I wanted peirced. I'm nitpicking the outfit, the arm cuff things don't fit were they're supposed to and one still has the marks used to cut the pattern still visible. Her stockings caught in her knee joint and tore. She has no underwear. I discovered that while I could care less if my adult dolls have undies I thnk the kids kinda need some...

The thing is, I think I'm just nitpicking her because she's not Luna. I feel like maybe if I hadn't bought Torrie I could have got Luna even though having $550 still leaves me $1000 short! I'm trying to remind myself that it's not either or, that I can still maybe get Luna and she-who-must-not-be-named someday and still be happy with Torrie. And then I realize how fucking ungrateful I am!

So basically unless you post photos of El, Shiwoo, or a Dollshe no one gives a crap. I'm finding out that Alexei also gets no love. Apparently he isn't effeminate enough or something. Heath's aren't very popular. He is ignored at cons along with all my other dolls, and I imagine if I took hime to a meet it would be the same story. Everyone would be slavering over the 20 Shiwoos that everyone brought.
