Life is very busy.I just finished doing a pinup for Hit the Beach! It should be out soon, actually. I believe Radio is going to publish it before San Diego.
I just got back from a big road trip to LA. We went to Kinokuniya, ate sushi, went to Meltdown Comics and Aemoba Records. Then, we were stuck in traffic. Instead of staying in traffic and advancing at a crawl, we decided to stop at Universal Studios Promonade for dinner. As it happens the Hulk was having its world premiere there. We ended up seeing the backs of a lot of famous people's heads. We were seated in the HardRock Cafe near the windows. But, the papparazzis was across the street. So all the stars were looking in their direction. I did get to see Sam Sheperd, Stan Lee, and Lou Ferrigno. We think we also spotted the back of Ang Lee and his wife. It was all just one of those funny coincidences. We literally wandered in off the street.
Stuff I bought at Ameoba: Enigma, Gangs of New York soundtrack, Fifth Element sound track, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert sound track, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion sound track. I was rather disappointed that one of the CDs I was really looking for they didn't have. I'm trying to find a copy of October Project by October Project. I have the cassette but part of the first (and my favorite song) got erased somehow.
