Me at the Library!
Oct. 31st, 2008 11:51 amI gave a talk on the history of manga at the Hanford Library last night and one of the librarians videos all the speakers. Here is a portion that he posted on Youtube. I know I should have repeated the questions back but try to bear with it. Anyway, it wasn't as humiliating as I thought. Apparently there will be a DVD version available if you'd like to watch me make a fool of myself for longer. Okay, I'm being a little unfair to myself, I think I did well. You can hear me pretty well without a mic which is great cause the vidoer Sherman Lee was in the back of the room! I have good projection! All my life I've been told how loud I am! So suck it! It's paying off now then isn't it!!?
You get to see the Q&A portion, or a portion of the Q&A portion at any rate, I went on for awhile. I kind of wish Mr. Lee had posted a longer segment. Maybe he will. Demand it in your comments!
I'm dressed in Metamorphose for those curious, and the dolls I brought were Luna my Volks Luna, Lacrima my DIM Benetia dreaming head, and Cocoa my Souldoll Aku.
