The only thing even close to a sporting event that I watch is adventure racing, it's also called expedition racing. These are grueling 5 to 6 (sometimes more) day races involving hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rapelling, and many other feats of athleticism. Unfortunately the USA network and Mark Burnett have ruined the Eco Challenge. It used to air on Discovery Channel and it was a fantastic race. But now USA has turned it into a taudry commercial event. Not near enough time is spent on teams that are actually in the running to finish in the top 10. Instead we have to suffer through long segments about the Smirrnoff Ice Play mates and lots of interviews with Mark Burnett. I watch the race for the teams, inspiration, and competition not for Mark Burnett's huge ego. The South African team came in fourth which is a huge achievement but they were hardly featured at all. I will say that I only watched the two-hour finale of the event just so I could see who won. Discovery Channel still has a phenomenal expedition race which they show every year. I just hope I didn't miss that one.

I also went and bought the official Nintendo game guide for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire edition. I'm thinking of drawing tiny little pictures of Pokemon and coloring them in painter. I realized I need to practice on the small pieces that are very simple. I also bought Kare Kano volume 2. I really enjoy that manga. I'm currently reading Priest volume 5 and I just finished Happy Mania.
