Epic Middle Grade Fail- short story....

che_gilsonWell, I took a two break from Tea Times Three to write a short story for the September promt in Writing for Kids on Absolute Write. The Writing for Kids forum baically covers middle grade fiction. So what do I come with? A morbid story about a boy whop has to help a ghost. A dead ghost boy with dripping stumps instead of hands. Wow. Way to go. And way to rewrite The Sixth Sense. Could you be more original??? And there's a serial killer! Whoot! Crap! What the hell is wrong with me? Why do I default to this weird morbid/horror/paranormal mode?
