"Burning holes in all your clothes"
Aug. 22nd, 2003 09:41 pmWell, I finally got my seamstress. I'm going shopping Saturday for fabric. And I'm getting ready to sink about $80 into a pair of bloomers. It's my first step to becoming the fabulous Gothic and Lolita Princess I've always wanted to be. Well, for the last two years anyway. I'm very excited though. The seamstress seems really nice and gave me a lot of good advice. I can't wait to start combing the pattern books to find patterns that I can alter to be Gothic and Lolita clothes.
I also finally finished my story for the magazine Weird Tales! I can't wait to submit it. I am hoping to start making some money with my writing. It would been nice to actually make money from my short stories. One thought that I had was to collect all the stories that get rejected from magazines and publish a story collection through Iuniverse. I have a vampire story that was rejected from Dreams of Decadence which I want to post on my web site. If that takes too long I might just post it to my live journal. My only regret/frustration is that I can't work faster. But I'm determined to submit several more stories to both Weird Tales and Dreams of Decadence before the year is out.
