Doll report.
Jan. 7th, 2009 07:36 pmWell, Isabella shipped off Monday, to her new home. Where I am assured she will not be modded LOL! :) The buyer actually read my lj! And went back a few posts. Anyway, I hope she likes Isabella.
Another Ran is taunting me DoA. A fullset for $2100. Mocking the fact that I have nowhere even close that kind of money. Well, I'll have to get her the old fashioned wasy. Y!J auctions. There is a Ran head up for somthing like $700 WTF? I don't think so! For a little more I can get a body with that!
And speaking of bodies! OH NO! I need a super hot bod for Pearl! I'd like to get her a Super GEm female body in NS and I've read they are an ok match with Volks... I actually lik ethe SGem body better than the SD16. I'd like to be able to compare resin in person at some point though.
I'm also anxiously awaiting the MD Capricorn! All the Capricorns on DoA are wondering what it will be. My hope is for a green skin goat girl! I would like anything but Cream or Normal actually. I like Vesuvia's lavender skin a lot and the grey of Onyx and Euclase. Blue would also be acceptable ;) I'm hoping for a girl, since I have a SuperGem boy and he's... well... massive and heavy and I have to mod his damn hand to get him into the Kalix outfit I bought him. (That's actually on my agenda for tomorrow). But, I have to say the size of Super Gems is about a large a doll as I can stand. I seem to have a well established upper limit and lower limit on dolls. Anything human that's smaller than 30cm is a really hard sell. Anthros-OMG! I heart anthros! I only have two but if I had pile of money I'd have about 100 by now! Including every Zuzu Delf known to man and all the Pipos! (Except Baha...) ANYWAY, the upper limit stops at SuperGem. So, nothing over... 68? is it? And I have to say that's pushing it.
Also, none of them appealed to me in the same way Sard did. Heliot... I know he's super popular but so far he's about my least favorite along with Bix. I don't like him at all. Which is good for me actually so I can hold out for Capricorn! Maybe I will luck out and Capricorn will be hideous! Then I won't be tempted at all! I can't wait Heliot is done!!! I want the next doll! I've been waiting for ages!!
