Doll Snark!!
Mar. 9th, 2008 03:06 pmSome cow on DoA tried to rip me off. She's taking offers for a minifee Woosoo dreaming head, which on Fairyland all the dreaming heads are $27 option parts for the MNF. First she wanted $40 for it and I'm like "Does that include shipping?". Her reply is "No" AND she has some one offering $70 for the head. It's NOT a limited! It's just an option part!! I'm not sure who I'm angrier at. That bitch who's taking offers for a non limited standard head priced at $27 or the idiot offering $70 for a non-limited standard option part price at $27!!!!! I sent a reply saying it was ridiculious but I wish I'd actually told her its stoooopid. I'm going to hold out for an honest person who wants to split a whiteskin MNF Woosoo and is willing to add the option head to their cart for the asking price. It's bad enpugh that scalpers drive up the secondary market prices of limited editions but to drive up the price of a standard item? WTH bitch? I think it's very dishonest to even ACCEPT an offer of $70 on an item like that. You should offer it for $27 and first come first served. This purely lining her pockets! It's just plain greedy. I'm dying to post something snarky in her split thread but I know I shouldn't start anything.
Scarlet and Lacrima are going to be here soon. I'm making the last payment this week and I've even ordered eyelashes for them. I ordered 3 pairs of Volks Ivory eyelashes (the little ones since Benetia's only have 14mm eyes). The three pairs is in case I mess up. I really badly cut up Emilios and then he looked so painfully girly I decided to skip eyelashes anyway. I'm going to look up eyelash glue on DoA as well. Last time I tried Elmers and it wasn't sticky enough. I'm too cheap to buy eyelash glue from Dollmore and I'd like to se what a good alternative it. I'm not going to post the twins until their face-ups are done. Which reminds me I need more pink pastels!! Crap!
I re-did Alexeis face-up the other day and it looks like ass... I'm blaming it on the Heath sculpt being difficult to paint... He looks a lot better now that he has eyes and a wig on. He stole Saints wig too! Now Alexei looks like Armand from Interview With a Vampire!!! :O He's actually pretty darn hot despite the crappy face-up. I need to finish the Twins face-up, then Saints, then maybe I'll take another crack at him. I'll post some pics of him too. I may need to buy Saint another wig... Yori has a big ole noggin though and I'm looking for a blood red wig and not having much luck.
But! I joined a Coolcat group order and am finally, FINALLY getting a doll carrier! I'm starting with a big sive one, but I think I'll need an MSD size one too considering they are soon to out number the big dolls.
