Nov. 3rd, 2007 04:11 pmWell I'm, back from Yaoicon and I don't really want to talk about it... After 3 years of being chained to a table I cannot tell you how sick of it I am! NO MORE I say! Blerg! I still have Sca Anime though! BUT That doesn't mean I have to bring things to sell. I was thinking I could take some books but be able to pack up and wander around anytime I want. I mean I don't HAVE to be at a table the entire time! I hate it so much! I miss everything- the doll meets, the EGL Meets, panels and videos I want to go to. I'm tired of it. I haven't actually had fun at a con in 3 years.
The upside- I'm out of doll debt! YAY! Oh and I think my mom really wants to buy the Elfdoll Alice Cherry Blossom Pig. http://dec66292.dreamweb.co.kr/shop/step1.php?number=641 I must admit, I want one too especially after seeing her in person. I swore to never buy tinies too! They are slipperyslope of DOOM!
Well, I still have money left from Y-con so I'm going to clothe my dolls! YAY! I'm waiting for $$$ to show up in paypal at the moment, then I'm getting Dollheart Fukubukuros- shoes for ALL! And I need clothes for my holiday gift dolls which I'm not supposed to know about even though I'm the one bought them off of DoA. ANYWAY I'm going to have the most grunge punk Luna ever!
And soon Saint will have a head! I promise! Sadly it is a girl head. I kinda just went for cheapness and later found a SwD School A I coulda got for $250. BUT a Yori head it is! It will have to have a crazy faceup on it though since the body is way yellow! I think I'll get a white pastel and just make the face white and put some kind of red design on it- maybe get red hair and red eyes too.
Well 3 book signings down and none more until next year. Beleive it or not I'm getting a free ride to Senshi Con in Alaska in FEBUARY. I need muckluks or something. Brett says hiking boots will be fine but I'm not 100% sure I beleive him. The con is actually getting me a flight up and a hotel room! And someone will pick me up at the airport! LOL! Does this mean I'm someone now? Am I famous? Will I be mobbed by rabid comic book fans? Unlikely!
