Holy crap! We just got our computer back from the shop where we had to PAY some computer guy to uncorrupt our stupid system. I HATE computers soooo much. And now, it's too late to go back before computers. Now we're their bitch.
We installed the new Earthlink accelerater and our address book is gone. Thank heavens we printed it out. I'm still not 100% happy. The computer still seems a little weird. I also have to call the people who fixed our computer and ask if we need to reinstall Norton.
I just wish that the entirity of my social life didn't depend on computers now. I went happily along for YEARS without computers and now I can't get along without 'em.
Will I ever be happy? Things are going really well but I'm still haunted by a vague sense of dissatisfaction. Made all the worse by a sucky life. And get this: the only book store in town is closing for good! The ONLY BOOKSTORE...Now, I have to leave town to go to a bookstore. And that doesn't happen nearly as often as I like. This place just gets worse and worse.
Something good is happening. I have found another artist to work with and at least one more very hopeful. My aim is to be like Brian Michael Bendis or Garth Ennis who seeem like the two guys in comic who write everything. If I can just work consistantly enough all these multiple jobs should equal an income. Then I'll have enough money to move out of this wretched town to a place with bookstores!
