A conflict of interests

So I was talking to vampireanneke and lamenting that I was going to miss Yaoi Con 2 years in a row!! She said stop buying dolls and save up! After a good LOL I decided I will indeed ave up for Y-con and go next year. THEN I remembered I HAVE to go to World Fantasy Con in San Diego next year and they will quite possibly be on the same weekend!! Horror! I will go to WFC! I have to go! Because as God and Cthulhu are my witnesses I will have not only finished Tea Times Three but have ubmitted to agents- landed an awesome one! AND my book will be sold to a big 5 NY publisher! Squee for optimism! I'm still trying to get a handle on it and see how it feels.... This- the above mentioned TX3 making it big will give me something to TALK  to people at WFC about. Not the awkward wallflower/shrinking violet/nuerotic freakshow the last time was, when I had nothing to say to anyone because all I had published were comics and the last one was cancelled at book two anyway.

Other than that there are no dolls I want! At least none that come close to the 'I could concievably buy it' category. Would saw off someone else's arm for the Soom Nephilim though... What I'm really itching for is a dolly impulse buy. And possibly NOT a limited at that. But that isn't in the cards right now. I am also waiting for whatever lame ass event Volks throws our way in November for the anniversery of their store in Torrence. Is that right? Torrence?  ANYWAY- all I can imagine is another round of One-Offs the number of which won't crack the double digits.

Sorry, my Volks rage is showing again. I'm sure they'll make about 5 people really happy. Honestly though, I do love to hate them! And I do love them! So go figure... I LOVE my little NYDolpa Yos! They haven't been in their boxes for months because they are so cute I can't bring myself to put them away! But I'm feeling guilty because I worry about yellowing so they will have to put away soon.
