Tea Times Three halfway done!!

che_gilsonAnd I have maps!! Well, the town map isn't going as well as I would like- I should have been doing it all along. I also have an out of scale floor plan of the tea shop. I am going to shrink it down and include the kitchen and a diagram of the upstairs apartment. Call me crazy but I love it when people live above their shops. I also love commercial property that is renovated into living space. There is an old paint shop on my block I want to live in!
I'm also on page 194!! I can't beleive it! So another 175 or so pages and draft 1 will be done! Then I edit! Then I beg for beta readers! I haven't been on Critters.org in ages so I think I will have to throw myself on the mercy of friends. I'll also need really good proofreaders. I am not o much on the puncuation and the grammer...
Other projects: I'm looking into middle grade fiction, still moving slowly forward on the RFN and pondering a fantasy novel that I actually did research for!!OMG! It' very different than anything else out there too so I really like it.
There is an anthology call I want to write omething for a well! I jut have to churn out 20,000 words by omething like Nov. 1. I haven't even started.
Abolute Write is a fun forum. I've been hanging out it a lot lately. Have not made friends yet... maybe that will after I get published! How is that for optimism?? Making friends AND getting published!! Wow!
But I've also been thinking a lot about Middle Grade fiction. I may have found the solution to what to do with Ex Libris which has been in my head a long time now. First devised as a graphic novel- but I'm ure we can all guess the out come of THAT. Yeah... The solution is almost the opposite of T3- age the characters DOWN and drop the romance- or at least tone it down.
And monies!!! Come on people!! Anyone need/want art? I need about $200 worth of toner for my laser printer... Ugh, I bought it when I had a JOB! So sue me.
KINDLE PRICE DROP!! Have you seen? I have been haunting Amazon since the Kindle 3 came out and there is a Wi-Fi only edition for $139!!! Squee!!! There are a lot of cheap downloads too, classics, e-books, self-published etc. That would be the utter death of me!
