che_gilsonI can't believe that out of all the people on Live Journal (and there must be like a million or more right??) I'm the ONLY ONE who has ever read a book by Laurie J. Marks!! They are kind of old I know but still. I'm the only one with her listed as an interest. She is an absolutely AMAZING fantasy writer (and her work is rather sexy too). She wrote a whole trilogy about a planet that was mostly made of a hard crystal they called Glass. It was such a beautiful world. When I read the books I wanted to start a fan club for her.
I just finished reading Blind Lake by Robert Charles Wilson who is another of my favorie authors. It was so good I read it in about four days. I couldn't put it down! He needs to write longer books. His bookss always have some really mind blowing idea at their core which is great. I found the concept behind Darwinia very challenging to wrap my brain around. His books make me feel smarter, like I've accomplished something when I've read them and understood them
Here is a drawing of Saturnine my Tzimisce Vampire the Masquerade character. I found a livejounal rpg that I can play on since I can't play in real life. Which totally sucks. I NEED GAMERS!
