I'm gettin more dolls!!!

che_gilsonLike that is a surprise! My Benetia twins are on layaway at Featherfall!! OMG I'm so happy! I'm buying one with the open eyes and one with the lidded eyes. I finally came up with name too. Scarlet and Lacrima I might go fancy and spell it Scarlette. I also need to make sure about Lacrima but I'm 99% sure it's Latin for tear. I got it from the Kim Newman book Mother of Tears (?) part of the Anno Dracula series (go read them!!! I KNOW most of you don't know what I'm talkin about!!), it took place in Rome and there was a sort of goddess or spirit of the city called the Lacrima Mater or Mother of Tears. Terry Pratchett also had a vampire girl called Lacrimosa in one of his books and it was pretty funny. Which one will be which I don't know.
Happiness and JOY! I called the airport today and had a surprisingly pleasant interaction with the lady who answers the phones. Anyway, food is allowed on airplanes! YAY! I can take my sandwiches! I will not be at the mercy of United and or Denver airport. I'm taking grilled cheese (2) and probably a baggie or two of cashews. So that's my dinner.
I have found my travel doll!! Yes, I'm going to buy one just to go on airplanes! Yes I am sick in the head! She is is a total cutie pie though! I fell in love instantly. At first I thought I'd go for Soom Violet (who I've had my eye on since she was released), or one of the ubercute Leekeworld dolls. Then I was cruising the tiny forum going through the comparison photo sticky and saw her! A Minoru World Junior Leila!! She is 33cm tall and cute as a bug! She can fit easily in carry on luggage box and all, and she's not so tiny as to be easily misplaced like my little Nutmeg.
I'm about packed up too. I'm charging my DS (can't go for a 9 hour flight without it!), and bought it a carrying case. Turned out Target only had DS Lite size and I needed a case bigger than that as mine is oldskool DS. I found one for $10 at Gamestop. I also need to select my reading material for the plane.
I tell you, it was just such a massive load off to know that food is ok! I feel so much better about the whole trip!
