"I am Jack's smirking revenge."
May. 15th, 2004 01:15 pmBoy do I have a lot to update. So much has happened. My art computer setup is finally DONE. My Epson Stylus Photo RX 500 IS useable and out of the box and hooked into my computer. AND I did it all by myself! I have even been scanning with it and I copied something. I've even used the computer to work on things in Photo Shop. Now I just need some rewriteable CDs and I can move things to other computers! I'm keeping my art computer nice and pristeen and internet free. So we actually have another internet computer.
Which brings me to my faithful little GAteway computer. The modem died last Friday. I couldn't believe it. Four days without the internet was torture. But the repair shop put in a spiffy new modem that doesn't make the horrible modem noise that the other one did.
I got halfway through 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and couldn't stand it anymore! Paragraph after paragraph of Latin classifications that were sooo irrelevant because they never gave you the common name for whatever they were classifying. He could have been classifying his leg hairs for all we know. The good news that Howard's End is a really good book and much better written! In fact I'm almost done with it.
I am putting together a gothic/lolita meet for San Diego. I posted all the info on the three EGL communities I'm in. I am really looking forward to the Con this year.
Here is another sketch. I always want to see more gothic/lolita styled men's clothes so I thought I would take a crack at drawing some. Here is my elegant aristocrat boy:
