Mar. 13th, 2009 06:47 pmWell, after slacking for months on getting the dreaded eyebrows done I decided to finish Alexei's FOURTH goddanm face-up and he still looks like crap! My biggest problems- working clean, eyebrows, eyelashes, and painting teeth. Working clean is the biggest problem though. There are bits of this and that sealed under the MSC which you can see if you look closely. Also the inside of his head is irrevocably filthy. I don't think it shall ever be clean. But this is how he's stuck until I get around to doing it again, or at long last PAY a proffessional, which I can't and won't afford.
Note the white blob on the lips. I NEVER shopuld have tried to paint the teeth! But, do you know, on his very first face-up, done by me. I painted his teeth PERFECTLY! Perfectly! Once and only once! I've never been able to do it again. All I manage to do is ruin a decent job on his lips.
Maybe I shpuld just give up and name him Goth Panda-chan...
I will say this though- the Zoukei-Mura 01 brush is a JOY to work with! It produces amazing detail and holds enough paint to make it useful! Some of the really tiny brushes I've noticed, have trouble holding paint and it'a almost impossible to get a them to make a mark.
Still for sale is my most unloved DIM dreaming eyed Benetia. Poor Lacrima. Such an unpopular mold! Really, DIM girls aren't that bad! I feel bad for them. All those poor Morningdew elves that can't find homes! I added a huge trade list to my gal just incase I get any takers! If you have DoA marketplace access check her out http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=276651 I like her, but I have to say, I like Scarlet more!
I added some Yo-SDs to my trade list. Mostly the one no one likes- Yo-SD Ryo. I would trade for a Yo but I wouldn't pay money for one. Not that anyone will trade for a DIM girl anyway, but what the heck. Mostly I'd like to try a Yo out. I keep thinking I must be missing something. I don't like them much but they are so coveted that maybe I just haven't discovered the joys of Yo ownership. I see them at cons and think they're cute but I'm not OMFG! A YO!!! I DIE! They have yet too impress me. But again, maybe I'm missing something.
I'd also love to trade for a bunch of other tinies I wouldn't neccessarily buy. Zuzu Delfs and other 26 cm tinies. Little Fee and Leekeworld. What I'd really, really like to get is a Volks Hisui! But no one likes them either so it seems unlikely I'll get a tradeoffer. Secondly I'd like Kid Dollmores! I lOVE Kid Dollmores!
Oh well. I will be patient. I guess I should say above everything I'd like the money! I want Lacrima to SELL so I can pay off that damn Soom Glot!
