I think that we're really going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade the computer. Funny little things on the internet are going wrong. My kitty heads no longer bounce and when I went to my MSN account, I tried to post a reply to a live journal comment and it did nothing! Which makes me think that our software just isn't keeping up. I just hope it's not indicative of greater problems. I think with new memory and a better graphics card, maybe a new operating system, this thing can hold out a couple more years. I just hate changing things on the computer because then I have to learn new things. And I'm used to this one. Pretty soon technology will leave me behind...I'll be one of those old people who can't work anything. And always bug young people to help me.

I got my doujinshi done!! After scanning, leveling, and cleaning up 15 pages of pencils, I sure learned a lot about cleaning up pencils. Unfortunately, the first 5 pages or so didn't look very good. Especially compared to the last seven which are nice and crisp and could almost pass for inked. Because of my slow internet connection, I mailed the disc of art to ""meine_lieb and she is putting together our Yaoicon doujinshi! Sadly, I don't think I'm going this year. And it's not just a matter of a place to stay, either; I need a ride. I have one vague hope left but it's an insane longshot. Technically, I shouldn't be going in the first place. I have no money and I have to write chapter 5 and 6 of DMD Vol. #1.

Speaking of which, paperamp tells me that Tokyo Pop has announced our book on their website. After a thorough search, I still can't find it. But, keep your eyes peeled. I believe we may show up on the tp manga player too. Although I have a hard time finding that too.
