#1- The TNT version starring Sir Patrick Stewart. That version supplanted my other top twos when it came out. I love Patrick Stewrat
role, he is amazing actor and he makes one of the best Scrooge's ever in my opinion.

         The Good:
         Patrick Stewart :)
         Stellar costuming
         Richard E. Grant

         The Bad:
A mediocre ghost of X-mas Future.
TNT only shows it ONCE every year and I always miss it!

#2- The Muppets Christmas Carol- perhaps the singular wittiest version full of the sly Muppet humor and site gags they are known for.
        The Good:
Michael Caine! He did a wonderful job.
         Gonzo! So funny!
Rizzo has some of the best lines
         Most creative ghosts!
The song at the end of the movie that Scrooge sings after his conversion is so beautiful and makes me cry every time.
The songs in general are very, very good.

         The Bad
          Michael Caine can't sing
The woman playing Scrooge's fiance has a long and very shrill song.

#3- A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott- Come on! It's George C. Scott! I grew up with this version! It was ort of big news when it came
out in '84 and it was a really good version. And I just love George C.

        The Good:
        Gerge C. Scott
        It's really dark

       The Bad:
I'm not sure it's aged particularly well.

#4- The classic old black and white version with Alistaire Sim, which they showed before all the other versions started coming out.

        The Good:
         It's a classic

        The Bad:
No one airs it anymore because it's not in color.

So, there you have it. I did NOT like Scrooged. I know so many people think it's a Christmas classic but I just did not like it. That one and the Kelsey Grammer musical version are the two that I will turn the channel on.
